This week we have celebrated creative learning during our Arts’ Week. We were astounded by the quality of work produced by our pupils so far, from Early Years to Year 6.
Classes have been working on individual projects but have also worked collaboratively on whole school projects such as OUR SUPERHERO CITY and the SUPERHERO PEG DOLL PROJECT.
Additionally, yesterday (in the glorious sunshine) we took part in a SUPERHERO SUPERDRAW outside in the playground. It was great seeing children using chalks to draw their portraits on the ground and walls, even if the rain has now washed them away! Observing our talented children and staff being active and creative learners has been fantastic.
Thank you to all the adults who have taken time to help us create outstanding pieces of art but also ensured a wonderfully successful week of art celebration.
Next week, the children will be showing off their work in the DKH Art Exhibition on Thursday 13th June starting from 3:30 – 5:30.
