During the last week of the first half term, the whole school took part in the “Dog Kennel Hill Great School Bake Off“. Each Class designed, created a recipe for, baked and evaluated their cake.
They chose a country to inspire their ideas. The cakes looked brilliant and Ms. Hillier and Ms. Melehi were the judges. I spoke to so many children and they were so excited about their creations
and were obviously very keen to eat them! It also brought out their competitive sides and they were able to give great reasons why they should be the winners!
The winners were:
- 3rd place: Rowan Class
- 2nd place: Elm Class
- 1st place: Beech Class
Congratulations to Beech class. Next week, they will have breakfast in their classroom… yum yum.
