We would like to take this opportunity to bid farewell to one of our wonderful Music Teachers, Mr Owen Wales. Owen has been teaching Music lessons, Brass lessons and leading Brass Band at both Dog Kennel Hill Primary and Rotherhithe Primary School for a number of years. He has been an absolute asset to the School Community and has instilled particularly a love of Brass for many of our children. We want to thank him for everything he has done for our School Community and we wish him all the best of luck as he moves onto bigger endeavors as a Senoir Brass Specialist in Bromley!
To continue the fantastic work of Mr Wales, Ms Emily Atkinson, our other Music Teacher, will be taking over Mr Wales’ Music Lessons on a Monday. There will also be a teacher starting who will provide Brass Music lessons and also run the Brass Band.
Owen will be doing a special performance with the Brass Band both during Assembly on Monday and also after School in the Playground. Please come by and have a listen at pick up at 3:30!
