What a fantastic day the children had on Wednesday, 27th June 2018 at St Saviour’s and St Olave’s sports field. We were lucky with the good weather too! The children were able to compete with great skill and determination in field events ranging from long jump, tug of war to track events including the hurdles and 60m. All the children tried their hardest and there were some outstanding performances from all year groups. It was lovely to see the children being competitive and determined but also showing great encouragement and sportsmanship towards each other throughout the day.
Thank you to Mr Adeyinka for organising Sports Day this year. Also, thank you so much to the many parents and carers who came to support the children at the event. It was fantastic to see so many parents supporting the children in all the different activities.
Congratulations to the children who won medals as well as all the children for participating in what was I hope was a very enjoyable day. Please see the attached sheet with the results from KS2 Sports day. A video was shared with the pupils in assembly this morning during the presentation of medals. The video will also be uploaded onto the school website for you to enjoy. We all had a fun-filled day!
