Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome back to the Summer Term at Dog Kennel Hill Primary! We hope you all had a restful break. This term, we have some exciting extra-curricular activities starting across the School!
Miss Emily Atkinson, from Southwark Music Service, will now be running all Music sessions on a Monday and a Wednesday. Next week, we will also be joined by Ian from the Salvation Army, who will be teaching Brass Band lessons and will lead the afterschool Brass Band Club!
Forest School sessions have begun for Hazel (Year 5) and Beech (Year 3) Classes and Dance sessions with Chantall from Pioneer Dance have started for Beech (Year 3) and Cedar (Year 4). Cedar (Year 4) have also begun their Cricket sessions with Platform Cricket! We will also be having Bikeability sessions in the week of the 5th of May for children in Years 3 and 4!
In addition, we will be starting Class Assemblies, so please make a note of the dates on the newsletter and feel free to join us to watch your child’s class share their learning! Assemblies will be from 9:15-9:35 in the Lower Hall.
