We will be combining science and art to celebrate International Women’s Day. The whole school will take part in a project focusing on female scientists. Children will create portraits celebrating the accomplishments of these scientists and our finished work will form part of the “The Great Big Art Exhibition” which will involve displaying all of the portraits on the windows of our school.
This is a national initiative and we encourage families to also take part. It is a great way for all of us to explore our creative side at home, from first-timers to professional artists. The project would like to see as many people taking part as possible. Display your art in your front garden, from a balcony or on your front door to join DKH in the Great Big Art Exhibition!
