DKH took part in Walk to School Week. It was great to see so many of our children travelling sustainably. Walking, cycling and scooting has so many benefits from physical to mental wellbeing; aiding concentration and creativity and creating safer, less polluted and more welcoming streets. All that makes for a happy, healthy child set up for success in and out of the classroom.
There are lots of fun activities you and your child can undertake on your walk to and from school.
You could even include a scavenger hunt as part of your journey.
