Last week Year 4 had a WOW day and we recreated Lizard Street from Krindlekrax by Philip Ridley. We started the day with toast and marmalade (our characters’ favourite breakfast) and then built and painted the different buildings along the street.
Later, we added speech and used onomatopoeia to help create an amazing soundscape. We used this dramatisation to help us write a description of Lizard Street, including propositional sentence openers and lots of descriptive devices.
