This week in EYFS, we have been learning all about Diwali, the Festival of Lights!
The children enjoyed exploring this special celebration through lots of fun activities. We created beautiful rangoli patterns, decorated and made (from clay) our own diva lamps and tried some delicious food. The children were especially excited to design henna patterns for their hands, using their creativity and fine motor skills. It’s been a joyful and colourful week of learning!
We also continued learning about Black History Month, in particular Floella Benjamin and Marcus Rashford.
