This Autumn Term, the children began the ‘Empathy Project’, where each class read a selection of books with the theme of ‘empathy’.
During their ‘Reading for Pleasure’ sessions, classes explored each of the stories and how the characters displayed empathy, or discussed what they would have done to show empathy.
We then began creating artwork to display what each child thought ‘empathy’ would look like. Here is Willow Class completing their artwork on what empathy means to them.
