This week was Anti-Bullying Week and each class has been exploring some activities related to bullying. For a PSHE sessions, classes looked at the different types of bullying, how it effects people, how to ‘speak up’ if yourself or if you know others are being bullied and what we can do as a school to promote this year’s theme of ‘Respect’ by showing kindness towards each other. Many of our Stars of the Week were also chosen because they had shown ‘acts of kindness’ and ‘respect’ to others.
Many children also wore odd socks on Friday to remind us how being different and unique should be celebrated! Below are some of the posters children had made to promote ‘how DKH shows respect to others’ and how to stop bullying.
