On Thursday 6th March, Cedar class will accompany a body of up to 2000 children where they have been invited to hear a concert performed by “Orchestra Unwrapped” and then to perform the song “I Hear You” with the rest of the children invited to the concert. The concert carries a Nordic theme (more on that in our art blog so please be sure to check that our!).
Orchestra Unwrapped is the Philarmonia Orchestras schools’ concert series for Key Stage 2 pupils, presented in London, Leicester and Bedford. The programme offers thousands of children from many different backgrounds the opportunity to hear a live orchestra. The concert is accompanied by learning resources to explore music in the classroom. The Cedar class children are very excited to be a part of this amazing day of music.
