Today is Saint George’s Day and Grove Primary School will be celebrating this very special day with a fabulous Saint George themed lunch.
Saint George is a legendary figure celebrated on April 23rd, famous for the tale of brave Sir George slaying a fierce dragon to save a princess and a town. Known as a symbol of courage and goodness, he is the patron saint of England and several other places, often represented by a red cross on a white flag.
