What a fantastic week we have had to kick off a brand new school year at DKH! It has been great to see our pupils back and so eager for learning.
I’m happy to share that both the children and staff have settled into their new classrooms with ease. The students are showing great enthusiasm for their learning and are keen to take on new challenges! This week the whole school have been exploring the book ‘Journey’ by Aaron Becker. In this week’s school news, you can see Year 6’s fantastic artwork that they created using this book as inspiration.
Thank you to parents and carers who attended our Meet the Teacher sessions. Copies of the presentations can be found on our School Website. We will also be holding a coffee morning for all parents on the 13th September 2024 at 9:05am in the Mary Seacole Building. This will be an opportunity to meet with the leadership team to hear about our recent achievements and discuss our school priorities for the year ahead.
