Lettsom Gardens
Everyone at Grove Primary has a chance to play and learn in Lettsom Gardens, the community garden across the road, and some pupils also look after the school allotment there. If you’re in year 3, you’ll know that the gardens are named after an eighteenth century doctor called John Coakley Lettsom, who built a house there called Grove Hill. Dr Lettsom was a man who took the Grove Golden Rule very seriously.
