Dear Parent/Guardian,
On Friday the 13th of December we’re inviting all pupils to take part in Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day. We’re asking pupils to bring in a £1 donation, or whatever they can give, to help transform the futures of children in the UK and around the world. All money raised will go to Save the Children and will help make sure every child, no matter where they’re born, has essentials like food, water and a safe place to sleep at night, and will ensure children can grow up happy, healthy and become who they want to be.
There’s no need to buy a new jumper – why not decorate an old sweater and make it festive! There are decorating templates online at christmasjumperday.org/schoolspack if you want some inspiration. If you’d like to find out more about Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day, go to christmasjumperday.org.
We’d really appreciate your support to make Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day a success; it’s a great cause, so together at school, we’ll be helping to create a brighter future for children, we can make the world better in our sparkly, silly sweaters!
Woolly wishes,
Dog Kennel Primary School
