This Autumn Term we have been exploring the ‘Empathy Project’, where each class from Nursery to Year 6 read a selection of books with the theme of ‘empathy’.
During their ‘Reading for Pleasure’ sessions, classes were encouraged to discuss how the characters displayed empathy and how they could develop their own empathy as they lead their own lives.
Each child was asked to create a piece of artwork about what they though empathy would look like. Here are some of their wonderful creations! A big thank you to Ms Marie Kelly-Roberts for collating all the artwork together to display within the school!
