It’s Maths Week this week and as part of this exciting week, classes have been taking part in a number of challenges using lego. Lego bricks can play a very important part in our maths learning as they can be used for counting, for building geometric shapes, to calculate the area or the circumference of a space and much more.
In this challenge, Beech Class were tasked with seeing how tall a tower they could build using lego in just 5 minutes. The children worked hard in the timeframe and as you can see from the gallery, they did a very good job. Well done class!
