On Wednesday 4th October 2023 Beech Class set off for a fantastic trip back in time as they visited the TFL Museum to learn more about computing and how transport works in their local area. Nestled in the heart of bustling Covent Garden, the Museum tells the story between the growth of London and its transport system. Many familiar sights, sounds and smells that shape the Capital come from its transport. Whether that be its red buses, Underground roundel design or even the brand-new Elizabeth line.
At the start of the day, the children worked out different coding patterns for trains and then solved problems with what they discovered. They then learnt more about the history of transport of London (as well as played the roles of drivers and engineers).
