It’s Wednesday morning, which means its music day for many of our children. Today we joined our new music teacher Mr. James Dixon who will be teaching our key stage 2 children this academic year. As you can see from the pictures below, the children are already getting to grips with musical instruments such as the xylophone pictured here.
Music is and has always been the beating heart of DKH Primary School. At the core of our everyday experience with music, we use it to relax, express ourselves, come to terms with our emotions, and generally improve our well-being. It has evolved into a tool for healing and self-expression, often dictating how we, as individuals, take steps to impact society.
We will be conducting a video interview with James this week so that we can all find out a little more about our new Music Teacher so keep an eye out for that. Enjoy the gallery.
